Amish Cookies from the kitchen of Tracey Smithee
1 cup sugar 1 tsp. soda
1 cup powdered sugar ½ tsp. salt
1 cup butter 1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup oil 1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs 4 ½ cup flour
Mix. Form into balls and roll in sugar. Flatten with a glass; mark with a fork. Bake for 10 min. at 350
